Foundations Yoga is a boutique style studio that embraces a traditional approach to yoga helping our community develop a greater sense of both physical and emotional well being.

We are here to serve yogi's of all ages and abilities within a casual comfortable setting. It is our belief that Yoga truly is for everyone, and we invite you to stop in and meet the Foundations family.

Foundations Yoga and Therapy

Foundations Yoga's 30 minute meditation practice is a great opportunity to find stillness, peace and self-awareness. We will begin with a centering practice and at least two breathing exercises to help prepare the mind and body for guided meditation. The guided meditation will vary each week and may focus on aspects of grounding, chakra energy, breath awareness, "letting go", love and healing. A meditation practice will help build concentration and awareness, as well as create a deeper sense of peace and relaxation. Over time, one will notice longer periods of feeling calm, a regulation of emotions, a focused mind, and a greater resilience to stress. This practice is open to all people; no meditation experience is required! *pre-registration is preferred

Instructor: Anna Major, E-RYT 200, RYT-500, M.Ed. Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra ® is a guided meditation that allows you to observe the wholeness of who you are. This deep relaxation eases the body into a state of healing and integration, which studies have shown alleviates many stress induced ailments including chronic pain, anxiety, depression, cardiovascular and digestive disorders and much more. This workshop is based on Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra ® created by Jennifer Reis. We will begin with a brief discussion about Divine Sleep and how it works. Then participants will complete a gentle warm up before being guided in meditation. There is no wrong way to do divine sleep! Come join us for a fun introspective journey.
