Saturday Morning Walk in Bliss Woods

Some members have suggested Bliss Woods as an alternative to walking on the Virgil Gilman Bike Trail.  Hopefully, the weather will cooperate for a nice walk.

We will meet in the parking lot of the main entrance on Bliss Road.

Get a glimpse at the natural environment that existed in this area before European settlers arrived while at this 285 nature preserve where you will find plant species numbering more than 240, with some found nowhere else in the county. The woods are a haven for animals and the preserve includes a campground, picnic spots, and recreation areas.

Is this a paved path for walking?

Part of the path will be paved, but most of it will be grass or limestone.
