Background
Blades snap out of her synthetic arm. An overclocked processor interfaces with his nervous system. They both cut glass in their own way. But their most dangerous weapons: they’re not afraid to get hurt. How do you think she got that arm in the first place? They already have skin in the game; they’ll sacrifice more. To live up to their code. To see the next payday. To get revenge. To protect someone they love. This game is about hard-nosed characters entrenched in the gritty criminal underground of the near-future. They have illicit technology and the talents to use it. They work contacts, exploit opportunities, play factions against each other, and try to come out ahead. It’s the shady stories of hardboiled crime novels of yesterday set in the dystopian sci-fi cities of tomorrow.
This is a homebrew system that uses a dual axis result system so that a dice roll doesn't only determine success/failure, but also whether or not that roll advantages or disadvantages you. A success may seem sweet, but could come at a cost, likewise a failure may hurt, but could come with other advantages.
The system is built off the concepts and mechanics of Technoir taking the base system and replacing the dice system with a system that is more then just success/failure. At a basic level this is a Cyberpunk game, with an overarching conspiracy/mystery that will be developed by the players and the GM using Technoir's Transmission system.

- No system knowledge is required.
- A microphone and headphones or headset is required.
- We will be using Discord for audio.
Notes
This game will be hosted in FoundryVTT, you only need a web browser to access this (Such as Firefox or Chrome). You don't need to sign into anything or own anything for this, and credentials and links to sign in will be provided on the Discord.
