What We Are About….
Franklin 50+ Friends is a group of women from the Franklin/Brentwood area who are 50+ years old and interested in developing sincere friendships with other compatible women who share the same core values. All are welcome, whether single, divorced, married or widowed. A variety of activities will include Bunco, monthly lunch bunch, casual potlucks, happy hours, porch sitting, book club, movies, evening dining, day trips, weekend getaways, theatre events and group volunteer opportunities. To make our meetup group a true a shared experience, all members will be required to take turns hosting events, whether in their home OR a public venue. A “celebration” get together will be held every month. This will serve as an opportunity to welcome new members or an excuse to just get together and have fun! Our objective is to establish a close-knit group of women who are interested in developing relationships that are caring, supportive and positive. At this time, membership will be capped UNDER 50 members and limited primarily to residents of Franklin or Brentwood, and those ladies who are available for daytime activities. This is due to our attendance requirements to keep the group fully engaged. We are about relationships, not just acquaintances!
How We Are Doing It….
Effective June 1, 2018 dues will be $12.00 per year, paid annually. After 30 days if dues are not paid, meetup automatically releases the member. Dues are non refundable All monies collected will be used for Meetup’s website, any printed materials and event supplies.
