This meetup is designed for those who are already in good physical condition. Our walks will range from 3 to 5 miles in distance. You should be able to walk this distance briskly, and not be out of breath. Check the description for each meetup to find out how hilly, rocky, or difficult the terrain is. Typically, any stops will be short—3 to 5 minutes –so that everyone can have a sip of water.
Keep in mind, however, that this is a social group, as well as a fitness group. You can expect to meet new people, to have interesting conversations, and to form new friendships, during our walks. If you prefer to move at the pace of a runner or jogger, then this is not the group for you.
