Rock Creek Trail Bike Ride

Meet at 9:15am—wheels down at 9:30 am. Bike ride led by Lori Schulman

Meet at the parking lot that is next to the trail head. Parking lot to get on the Rock Creek Trail is 15700 Needwood Lake Circle, Rockville, MD

We will take the Rock Creek Trail from Lake Needwood in Rockville to the DC Line and back. This trail is a very scenic, 14 mile paved path that twists and turns a bit, with a few short hills. There are many miles that are flat as well. It is beautiful and shady for most of the ride. We will pass many small parks that have porta-potties. A lunch stop is planned, details to come. This is 28 miles total but there are plenty of places to turn around if you don’t want to ride that many miles. (I do have to say, the most wonderful parts are closer to the DC line :)
