The American Humanist Association will continue its commitment to the greater good of humanity and its defense of civil liberties for all by participating in the August 12 Still Here, Still Strong Rally. The AHA will join the Shut It Down DC coalition of more than 30 local and national groups in a rally celebrating the diversity and power of our united communities. In the face of hate, anger, and oppression, the rally will honor and promote ongoing efforts to build a world of justice and love.

WHERE: Southwest corner of E Street and 13th Street NW (at the Casmir Pulaski Statue) @ Freedom Plaza, Washington D.C.

WHEN: 12:00 pm

The AHA specifically encourages members who are trained to engage in large-scale demonstrations to attend. Shut It Down DC is organizing a Day of Free School on Friday, August 10, with classes including self-defense, know your rights, and many more to prepare attendees for the weekend’s events.
