This specific meetup event are for high level play only and the skill level is assessed objectively. RSVP Policy / Skill Requirement: "BB-A" Intermediate. Consists of players with a solid knowledge of the game and rules. Skill levels range from Advanced Beginner to Proficient Veteran. Must be able to serve, bump, set, and spike to be allowed to play. Payment Policy: Players must pay the host upon arrival at the event. Failure to pay your contribution to the rental cost for reserving the court will result in you not being able to play / removal from the meetup. Cost: $3.40 (credit cards) $3 (cash, venmo, or paypal) per person to cover rental of facility, collected online or at the court ($0.40 is the credit card fee). We accept CASH and Credit Card, there is a small fee for Credit cards. No Fee for Venmo, Paypal, and cash. We highly encourage you to ***pre-pay*** your $3.40 BEFORE the event since this will allow you to just leave when the event ends rather than have to wait to pay.     As Spring has finally sprung it's time to spend some time in nature! Let's head down to beautiful nature trail Bristoe Station Trail Loop! Some things you should know: -This is a leisurely trail of 2.1 miles without any challenging inclines -There aren't any bathrooms on site so maybe make a pit stop before getting to the trail! -Don't forget to bring water and sun screen! -There is a parking lot for the trail -We will be heading to Brew Farm LIVE after our walk for food and drinks, the address is: 9901 Discovery Blvd, Manassas, VA 20109 -We are making Brew Farm a secondary event in case people did not want to go on the nature walk! -Brew Farm LIVE is only 8 minutes away, and here's a quick rundown of their SUPER cool campus: Located in Manassas, Virginia, Farm Brew LIVE is an 8-acre campus that features craft beer, craft food and live, local music. BB-A level players, must be able to pass to the setter consistently, must be able to set consistently, must be able to serve consistently. Please be respectful of this requirement. A "BB" player: 7/10 passes go to the person they intend. May have played high school volleyball. Knows about lifts/doubles, etc. Understands rotational sequence, offensive concepts (i.e., 5-1, 6-2, etc.) and defensive positions but may be working to solidify those skills. Must have a complete understanding of court positioning with respect to blocking and receiving on both the offensive and defensive sides of the net. Good anticipation and mobility skills are a must to maintain a high level of play. Knows the footwork of and how to approach hitting effectively. Solid knowledge of the game and rules. Skill levels range from Intermediate to Proficient Veteran. Game and player strategies are well understood (i.e., running offensive plays, identifying opponent weaknesses, reading opponents plays during volley, etc.) but may still be in refinement.

They have memberships if you are interested in coming back more frequently. 6v6 indoor volleyball at Thomas Jefferson Recreation center, with three teams We will be taking the first 15-30 minutes to explain and practice 5-1 rotations. SKILL LEVEL REQUIREMENT: BB-A level players, must be able to pass to the setter consistently, must be able to set consistently, must be able to serve consistently. Please be respectful of this requirement. A "BB" player: 7/10 passes go to the person they intend. May have played high school volleyball. Knows about lifts/doubles, etc. Understands rotational sequence, offensive concepts and defensive positions but may be working to solidify those skills. Game and player strategies are well understood (i.e., running offensive plays, identifying opponent weaknesses, reading opponents plays during volley, etc.) but may still be in refinement.

Details are as follows: - Price is $7 per person + the price of the pottery (typically starts around $10) - Session will be 1 1/2 Hours - Afterwards will choose a nearby bar to continue socializing with refreshments. - Please be on time for our session as it only lasts an hour and a half and we want plenty of time to create our masterpieces! We hope you will join us for this truly unique event, I think it will be one for the books!

Knows how to bump, set (a little), and spike. Has a lot of practice yet may not be able to do skills consistently. Makes mistakes and can't always direct their passes to specific players.
