This is a group for all Campers who want to get together and code collaboratively. We will set regular Meetups but feel free to plan your own and get together! This is a very open group dedicated to helping everyone learn together.

Free Code Camp @ Noisebridge


Come join us at Noisebridge and learn to code. The meetup is largely self directed, but we welcome your coding questions. Already a pro? Jump in and mentor someone new. All levels are welcome! The meetup is based on the FreeCodeCamp Curriculum, but feel free to work on your own things/study materials and come and go at any time. https://learn.freecodecamp.org/ Noisebridge is a creative hackerspace/makerspace, and fun to check out. It also has several computers you can use, so no need to bring your own. Parking can be hard to find, so please consider BART or Muni. Northside Branch Library

Come join us at NorthSide branch and learn to code! Our meetup has 3 tracks: 1. JavaScript workshops: If you want a guided track for learning JavaScript, we will be reviewing and helping each other with the lessons covered on https://c0d3.com. 2. Experienced Engineers doing interviews: Meet other engineers who are also doing interviews and role play as interviewer / interviewee to get more practice. Feel free to bring your interview questions to discuss with our senior software engineer mentors. 3. Python workshop: (Pending). If you want a guided track for learning Python, fill in the questionnaire here and we will try to accommodate. FCC students - If you are going through the FCC curriculum and you are stuck, feel free to come seek for help. There will be experienced engineers who are more than happy to help. *NEW* freeCodeCamp meetup in the Walnut Creek Library! freeCodeCamp is a nonprofit organization providing FREE resources for learning to code at: https://www.freecodecamp.org/ Join us and meet fellow code campers. Feel free to work on your own, ask for help, or collaborate on projects together. All levels are welcome, from absolute beginners to experienced coders! About the location: - WC Library has multiple meeting rooms, and we won't be able to get the same one each week. So please check here each week to see where we'll be! - The library is a 15 minute walk from the Walnut Creek BART station. There is also a free bus that will take you most of the way there from the BART station (Locust St + Civic Dr stop): https://countyconnection.com/routes/4/ - There is parking at the library, but it is metered. You may be able to find free parking around the area, but it will be a challenge! - No food is allowed in the library, but covered drinks are ok. - Please RSVP if you will attend, and un-RSVP if you won't.
