A little background information:
In these times of confusion, many are seeking inner clarity, peace and joy. Meanwhile, the most transformative energy, which can give us these beautiful qualities, lies inactive within us!
This energy is natural, sustainable, and infinitely renewable. It's called inner kundalini energy. And simply everyone already has it — everyone! It is often likened to an inner nurturing or motherly energy which automatically knows all about us and knows what is needed to help restore balance and harmony within our inner being. If gently awakened, this dormant (sleeping) energy works spontaneously, effortlessly and organically to give us peace and balance. The gentle awakening of this inner nurturing energy is effortlessly achieved simple by practising Sahaja Yoga Meditation - and this experience cannot be paid for! Classes are always free.
The classes are designed to help those attending experience a genuine meditative state This can be felt tangibly. It is quite effortless and spontaneous.
The free classes feature introductory talks, video's, practical workshops and general question and answer opportunities, making them perfect for anyone wishing to establish a state of yoga. The classes are available throughout London and the UK.
The truth is that we don't "do" true yoga through mental effort - It is a state of being which we may "Achieve" very simply, with the right approach.
Sahaja Yoga Meditation is a simple, time-honored technique. It helps those who practise it to reduce stress and increase wellness and health holistically. It brings better focus and helps people become more centered, better balanced and joyful. Anyone who desires this can achieve it.
Founded by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi, Sahaja Yoga Meditation is a world wide movement for peace and self awakening.
All the meetings and classes are free of any charge. Each week we go through simple meditation techniques, often with guided meditations to help reduce stress and to achieve the peace of true meditation.
We share tips on how to help stay in balance during the day and how to meditate at home. The meditation is based on connecting with the inner chakras (energy centres) and balancing our inner subtle body.
The tradition and aims of meditation are explained, which in essence is to experience being in the present moment, with no mental activity, and freed from our thoughts and worries about the past or the future.
Occasionally there are 1 day retreats organised to help those interested, deepen their individual experience and hear advice and tips from those who have been practicing for some time. It’s ultimately all about getting into ‘thoughtless awareness’, a natural state of being.
Our ability to attend completely free Sahaja Yoga classes everywhere is simply due to the good-hearted nature of people who have been practising Sahaja Yoga Meditation daily and who have realised what tremendous benefits in life they have received from this.
