    We'd like to welcome you to our FREE weekly Sahaja Yoga Meditation meetings, hosted by Sandra, Michael, Sunita, Rahul, & friends which take place in Slough – 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm on Tuesdays.

    Free parking is available behind the hall - please drive in through the gates to the left, and park behind the hall. Entry is through the front door, or, if you have parked in the car park at the back of the building, through the rear door.

    Beneficial and instructive for both beginners and the experienced. No prior reservation is required – simply turn up whenever convenient.

    Join as a complete beginner at any class, and learn:

    – How to meditate, and balance your inner being

    – About chakras, and simple techniques to cleanse them

    – How to feel, and decode the condition of your energy centres

    – How to give the experience of meditation and yoga ('self-realisation') to others

    At the meeting, there will be no bending and stretching type physical exercises – participants will be seated comfortably throughout. The classes are conducted in a relaxed setting, and have a friendly atmosphere.

    Sahaja Yoga meditation is natural, and easy. An introduction to the basics and a simple guided meditation is included in every class. In this way, even complete beginners can both experience meditation, and start meditating at home from the first day onwards. Each class is designed to be beneficial and instructive for beginners and regulars alike.

    The general format of each meeting will be as follows:

    - Introduction – suitable for complete beginners

    - A detailed talk on an aspect of meditation

    - A guided meditation session – no prior experience required; and you will experience the state of meditation for yourself

    - A ‘workshop’ – the opportunity to focus on specific chakras, and increase one’s experience of vibratory awareness. Participants in this session have the opportunity to learn about, and practise, giving ‘self-realisation’ to, and cleansing the inner subtle system of another person.

    We are all volunteers of a charity organisation, and have many years of experience offering free Sahaja Yoga Meditation classes.

    For those who have attended one of our sessions before, the classes can provide a valuable weekly boost of inner energy and deep revitalisation, through the powerful setting of collective meditation and clearance sessions.

    Are the classes and courses really free?

    Yes, our courses and classes are entirely free. Weekly Sahaja Yoga Meditation public programmes take place across the UK, and are also free - you can attend as many times as you like, without any charge.

    Do you have to attend any previous classes in order to attend a particular meeting?

    No, you can join a session at any time. Start whenever convenient – each class is presented as an independent module, and there is always an introduction to the basics, with a guided meditation experience.

    Does it matter if I have not attended any Sahaja Yoga class before?

    No, you are most welcome to attend the classes and courses, which are designed to be suitable for complete beginners – even those who have never tried any form of meditation before.

    Is it possible to attend only the sessions I can make it to?

    Yes - please feel welcome to attend any sessions that you can come to. Each session includes a brief introduction for complete beginners.

If you feel unwell you meditate and use the techniques you’ve learnt to heal your chakras, and you can then feel the centres clearing, and as a consequence your health improves.

    It’s all-inclusive.

    All the major religions and their core teachings are acknowledged and respected in Sahaja Yoga. No one’s spiritual journey is right or wrong. And through meditation the wisdom of all the great gurus and saints is easily revealed and understood. In fact, you’ll find that since you’ve been meditating you’ll come to understand and appreciate the teachings of great teachers such as Lao Tse, Buddha and Mohammed.

    You meditate and introspect at your own pace. You don’t have to keep up with others, or feel pressured into doing things you’re not comfortable with. You are your own teacher, your own guru, your own master. This technique of meditation empowers you and enables you to help yourself. You don’t have to rely on anybody else. Of course, there are many people who practice Sahaja Yoga Meditation who can teach you a great deal about the yoga & meditation and its various techniques.     Sahaja Yoga is practiced in almost every country in the world. So, no matter where you travel you can always locate a local Sahaja Yoga Meditation programme that you can attend. Whenever you get the chance, and no matter where you are, You try to link up with other Sahaja Yoga practitioners and enjoy a collective meditation. (Meditating with others is a much deeper and more powerful experience than meditating alone.)

    It’s portable.

    You don’t need to take anything with you to meditate: no mats, no potions, no special clothing or books. You can meditate anywhere – in a quiet room or on a noisy bus; at the beach or watching a movie. Thoughtless awareness (the state of meditation) is easy to achieve if you keep meditating daily, and it can be achieved in almost any situation.

    It makes sense.

    Everything you’ll learn will make sense. There is a lot of common sense in Sahaja Yoga meditation, and even though not everything was known to you (for example, the chakras and their respective qualities), once you have a chance to learn more about the meditation, it feels very natural and comfortable.

    Everybody does it.

    When you begin a hobby or join a new group, you often find that there are particular types of people who are in the group with you. For example, some groups attract younger people, others older folk; some groups have a lot of people who are wealthy, or people who live in a certain part of town. In Sahaja Yoga you will find people from every walk of life, from every demographic – male and female, young and old, rich and poor, every shape, size and colour, with varying interests, languages and beliefs. You don’t have to be a certain type of person to do Sahaja Yoga meditation. It is one of those rarities: something for everybody.
