What we're about

I believe that regular yoga practice is beneficial for everybody, but yoga in London is so expensive that attending a class is not an option for some people. That is the main reason this group was created, to make the considerable benefits of yoga accessible to everyone. I will be working with other top yoga instructors to provide affordable and in some cases free classes for everyone, whether old or young, rich or poor. These classes will be suitable for you whether you are an experienced yogi or coming along to a session for the first time. The emphasis is on having fun and making new connections and, as such, there will often be the option of socialising afterwards.

The sessions will be held in beautiful parks or cool urban spaces within the city proving that you don't need an expensive studio membership in order to enjoy this ancient art. I hope to see you on the mat soon!

Donation based Vinyasa & Yin Yoga in the Park plus Maltby Street Market Trip

Yoga Evolved aims to make yoga more inclusive, affordable and social, and we can think of no better way to achieve those aims than with this donation based class in the park, followed by food and drinks at the Maltby Street Market. The class will be taught by Jamie Rylett, a professional yoga instructor looking to share his favourite styles with you within the beautiful surrounding of Southwark Park. The class will begin with an energising Vinyasa Flow, before moving into a rejuvenating yin sequence. The session is for all levels, whether you have never practiced before or are an experienced yogi. The class will run from 12:00pm and will be followed by a short walk to the amazing Maltby Street, where we can grab some incredible food and maybe even a couple of locally made G&T's! Southwark Park is less than 5 minutes walk from Bermondsey Station. The easiest way to find us is to turn right out of Bermondsey Station and keep walking past Sainsburys. Just after you pass a Brazilian Cafe you will see the entrance to Southwark Park on your right. As soon as you enter the park you will see the historic bandstand. We will meet here at 11:50 am and then walk a few metres to the area we will use for the class. Bring your own mat if you have one, but if not feel free to come along and practice on the grass whilst getting the added benefit of earthing! Other stations that are all within easy walking distance of the park are Surrey Quays, Rotherhithe and Canada Water. If you are running late please feel free to come anyway and just join straight in when you arrive. 10% of the money donated will go to Karma Collab, a charity that aims to educate and empower women on a global scale. We are currently half way towards our target of sending a girl to school for a year. For more information visit www.karmacollab.org. FB / Insta : @yogaevolved www.yogaevolved.co.uk

Yoga Evolved Festival - Bringing People Together Through Yoga

Stillpoint Yoga

Yoga Evolved Festival aims to bring you a day of top class yoga, inspiring talks and high quality vegan food, along with a friendly, inclusive vibe. We are always looking to provide you with interesting new styles to try and this event is no different. We will be bringing you a full day of classes and workshops with some of London's best teachers. Running alongside these classes will be a number of inspiring talks and workshops, so if five hours plus of physical yoga sounds too much feel free to retreat to the cafe and take some much needed time out. It may be the most life changing coffee break you ever take! The ticket price includes all workshops, classes and talks and we never oversell these events. This ensures that attendees can do all the classes they want without having to reserve a space in advance. Attendees are always surprised by how cheap the tickets are for Yoga Evolved festivals and by the incredibly welcoming atmosphere we provide. People leave not only with a sense of positivity, but also with new friends who share the same values and interests, you really can’t put a price on that! This event will be raising money for Karma Collab, a charity which aims to educate and empower women on a global scale. We are currently half way towards our target of sending a girl to school for a year. For more information visit www.karmacollab.org.
