Come on out for another strengthening, stretching good time @ Athleta.
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing to stretch and work out in, and a yoga mat if you have one. A hand towel can be handy, no pun intended - to either cushion delicate knees, or to help with some poses similarly to a yoga strap.
Please arrive about 10 minutes early, to sign a waiver and get set. Looking forward to practicing with you!

Sarah S. has over 15 years teaching experience in yoga - and with her background as a paramedic, knows anatomy & physiology well. Her classes are lighthearted and fun, informative and safe for beginners. Come with an open mind - leave with an open heart.
Sarah S. has studied extensively with the “big names” in yoga - Shiva Rea, Sean Corne, Rod Stryker, Rolf Gates, to name a few… and has a variety of styles to draw from in her yoga toolbox. Yin, Vinyasa Flow, Partner Yoga, Kid’s Yoga… Expect a broad spectrum of poses and variations, to keep your yoga practice fresh and inspiring!
Sarah S. has besides her physical yoga practice… a solid foundation of breathing and meditation from studying with many patient teachers, including Kelsang Tilopa from the Buddhist tradition. He’s a Iron Man marathon running, Scottish warrior monk - and his style of humor and wry honesty shine through in Sarah’s teaching. Try a yoga class - Sarah is a yoga teacher, and sometimes a spiritual comedian!
