When did you start using a camera?

When I was about 9 or 10, I guess... A few years later, I bought myself a Canon AE 1 SLR, then got hold of a medium-format camera I finally never used. But I truly (re)discovered photography in 2002, when I switched to digital. Nothing has ever been the same since...

Why do you take pictures? Is it your passion? your work?

In terms of photography as well as many other things, I feel challenged by the human being. By what he is, what he sees, what he dreams of, what he expresses, what he creates, between daily life and art, reality and sublimation, perception of the past and range of prospects to come, discovery and sharing. To imagine, to structure, to compose, to propose, to show, to make react: questionning space, confronting oneself with time, apprehending limits, going beyond appearances, giving rise to meaning, inviting to go along without anything to impose...

How would you qualify your level of expertise? Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced or Expert (whatever your answer is, you will be granted membership :) no worries :))

Intermediate, I guess.

Do you have any photo subject preferences and/or suggestions?

Strangely enough, I mostly take pictures in museums and churches. Certainly because such places have both very similar designs and purposes, because time and space are essential there, because light really makes the difference, because...

Are you ready to take more beautiful pictures?! :D

Day in day out, rain or shine... ;-)

French, male, 55... Eager to discover, eager to learn, eager to share...
