An effective way to raise one's frequency is to learn and share new topics and ideas.
However, in our day-to-day life, it can be difficult to routinely learn and discuss topics that are outside of our: field of study, what we are habituated to talk about, and comfort zone.
This is a group for anyone who is interested in continously learning and sharing new ideas in a supportive and nonjudgmental listening environment. This group is meant to offer space for discussion of topics that one might not regularly be able to slip in during one's day-to-day life.
Your boss may not want to hear about your recent obsession with Heraclitus and why he was known as the weeping philosopher, and your friends may not want to hear about how Roscón de reyes is traditionally eaten to celebrate Epiphany -- But we certainly do!
Rules for participation:
1) Choose a topic of interest that you've always been interested in learning about but have never quite had the time to do so.
2) Learn enough about the topic to deliver at least a 4-5 minute summary of said topic.
