Did you know that in 2015, just in Alameda county, 236 homes were listed and sold on the MLS as Probate deals, accounting for $132,916,549 in sales volume? You don't need a spreadsheet to figure out what that could have meant for your business.
That was not an anomaly. There were 215 Probate homes sold in 2014, 164 homes in 2013, 160 homes in 2012, 130 homes in 2011 and 128 homes in 2010. Again, all this just in Alameda county and deals that made it to the MLS. In reality, most Probate deals are sold off market and don't even make it to the MLS since they are scooped up by directly by savvy investors.
In 2016, at the time of this writing, over 200 homes in probate have already been sold and 63 are currently either active or pending. As you can see, the numbers are growing very steadily.
