INFORMATION REGARDING MEETUP TUESDAY, JUNE 23
Monday, June 22, 2009 5:15 PM
Dear Fellow Francophiles and Francophones,
Tomorrow is the first Meetup of which I am the organizer and I am looking forward to it and to meeting all of you who have said that you are coming. I just want to give you the breakdown of levels as described by each person as well as the locations of those who have rsvp'd yes and maybe.
Fluent-4 (includes native French speakers, French teachers, and people who have lived in France or French speaking Switzerland for a significant amount of time.)

As of now, we have one person on the waiting list so if any of you "maybe's" have definitely decided not to come tomorrow, would you please update your rsvp so that the person on the waiting list could make plans especially since she is coming down from New Hampshire. I would appreciate it if the rest of you could update to yes by 3 p.m. tomorrow so that I can tell the manager of Panera's how many to expect.
For the benefit of those of us who are not fluent, the first 30 minutes after arrival, for the sake of introductions, etc., English will be acceptable, but after that let's speak French as much as possible according to our levels and not worry about our mistakes and accents nor compare ourselves to the fluents and native French speakers. Obviously, if you are a beginner you will have to speak some English. I don't want anyone to be discouraged. Let's have fun and get to know one another.
Those of you who are not coming to this Meetup, I hope to see you at the next one.
