What first interested you about photography?

Too far back to remember. Interested in shooting events, and landscapes.

What kind of meetups would you be interested in?

Get-togethers to display / critique / enjoy each other's photos, shoots at some kind of event, etc. I've shot gun shows, road rallies (my main hobby is road rallying), auto races, county fairs - photos are sometimes even an excuse to go somewhere.

What kind of camera equipment do you currently use?

Have two Nikon S-10's which are sweet little point-n-shoots, a Nikon D4s with a 50 MM F1.4 autofocus, Nikon 17 - 35 mm autofocus zoom, and a Nikon 80 mm - 400 mm autofocus zoom with VR. Also have a Nikon F3 and Nikkormat that I don't use any more.

Do you consider yourself a professional, amateur or somewhere in between?

What do you want to learn from the group?

Whatever someone wants to teach that I don't already know. I've been slow to get into really learning my Photoshop Elements, so any hands-on for that would be of interest.

Resident of King George, 68, and have been interested in photography pretty much since I saw my parents old box camera work. I mostly shoot events, rarely go out and shoot just to shoot, but can be persuaded.
