We would like to give back what has been so freely given to us which is living a life of being happy, joyous and free without the use of any mind altering substance. This group will organize many types of adventures for people looking for sober activities and want to live life to the fullest. This group is geared toward showing friends of all walks of life there is no need for the use of any mind altering substance to enjoy life and have a great time doing it. If this is a new concept for you and you are not sure where to go or what to do or who to do it with, come join us for a non-intimidating, non-threatening and loving environment. Although we are not affiliated with any specific organization as a group, we do schedule events that may include 12 step programs especially for Friends of Bill W. If you are seeking activities in a sober environment with people that live by spiritual principles, this may be the group for you. This group schedules activities such as Hiking, Kayaking, Backpacking, Snow Shoeing, Motorcycle Runs, Bicycling, Skiing, Fishing, Camping, Road Trips, Parties, Picnics and BarBQ's, Meditation Walks and Spiritual Outings, Concerts in the Park, Dining, Movie Day or any activities our members post. All members have access to post events. If you are adventurous and want to meet people to share sober activities and live life to the fullest, come join us, you'll be amazed if you give it a chance. We are all Trudging the Road of Happy Destiny.

Dry Riders (Friends of Bill W.) ride to a meeting in Jackson and lunch on Jan 20

(((((((((((((((((((((((((((((( DRY RIDERS )))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Let's try this again next Sunday Jan 27. Forecast is cloudy with zero rain! Put January 27th on your calendars. It's been a while since or last meeting ride so let's go to one of our favorite meetings in Jackson, but this time it's at 11:30 am on Sunday . After the meeting we'll ride to lunch at the Dead Fly Diner in Plymouth. This is a ride of modest length but leaves later than the previous Saturday Jackson meeting rides. We'll meet up at McDonalds at 2400 Sunrise Blvd at Zinfandel in Rancho Cordova at 9:15 am for all the "Hi, How ya do'n" stuff, potty stops etc. Pre-ride meeting is at 9:30, kick stands up at 9:35. Please be gassed up before arriving and I don't mean with alcohol! ;-) The route will take us out Hwy 50 to White Rock Road and then to Scott Road. From there we'll pass through Rancho Murieta, Ione, Carbondale, Buena Vista, past Lake Pardee onto Stony Creek Rd and Hoffman St into Jackson. The meeting is at 14 Water St. in Jackson. Always a good idea to check out the route and destination before the ride if you are so inclined. Here's the link for the ride to the meeting; https://goo.gl/maps/YctcbvLNwC62 There will be a gas stop at the Shell station in Plymouth after lunch. The link below includes directions to Dead Fly Diner aka Marlene and Glen's Diner. https://goo.gl/maps/v3JWqLAkoEC2 Rain cancels the the ride. Hoping to see you on the 20th.
