Quick Training Hike/Meeting - Eagle Mountain/Brule Lake Trail Clearing Trip

The primary goal of this event will be to do some final trip planning with all people attending the Eagle Mountain/Brule Lake trail clearing and enjoy a small leisure hike, but everyone and anyone is welcome to attend this training hike to be held at Fort Snelling State Park.  This will be an excellent opportunity to make sure that you have everything necessary for a backpacking trip into the BWCA (Trip participants are strongly encouraged to bring their loaded packs). Bring any questions that you have about equipment or prepping and between all members attending there is sure to be an answer for your situation.

This will be about a 1+ hour adventure.

We will meet in the Interpretive Center Parking lot (Follow the main road at the entrance all the way to the end)  at 6:30 PM and be back after about 1/2 hours walking. If you have any questions/concerns please contact Wyatt Lynnes, Dave Baar, or write it in the comments section of this event.

See you on the trail!

As an FYI, this is a State Park, so remember that a Park permit (daily or yearly) is necessary when visiting the park.
