Everyone is welcome to attend this training hike to be held at Fort Snelling State Park. Anyone who is attending a fall trail trip should bring all their gear. This is an excellent opportunity to see how your gear will function when on the trail. It is also a great time to try out new methods of packing and organizing or seek advice from experienced crew leaders and participants. If you're curious about the group and the trips, or just out for a fun hike, feel free to go light or bring gear as well. This is a flat hiking trail with a great view of the rivers and a new vantage point of the bridges some of us use on a daily basis.
This will be about a 2 hour adventure.
Be sure to bring at least 1 liter of water and and a snack to keep up your energy during the hike.
We will meet in the Interpretive Center Parking lot (Follow the main road at the entrance all the way to the end) at 5PM and be back after about 2 hours walking the trail. Questions/concerns contact Brian Fournier. (612) 669-0961
See you on the trail!
