Pike Island - Is the flood over? Hike

Hardest part about this hike is finding the parking lot.  Garmin may not work and you might find your self circling the MSP airport.  From highway 5 (is that right?) exit on Post Road, turn toward the valley and away from the airport, the drive down the hill past the park entrance.  Then follow the road for a bout a mile to all the way to the end. Parking lot on the right.   Be the first to learn about the "Partnership for the POW WOW Trail" with Stony River Cafe, and other organizations while you hike around the Pike Island (or just walk ahead).  Bring water, snack and consider meeting for nutritious dinner at the Town Hall Pub afterwards. I will get the name and directions up over the weekend).  Hope to see you there.  Hike focus:  Short tutorial on water treatment, pump and gravity filters, steripen, and pills.
