Otter Lake Training Hike Dec. 4

Whether you getting ready for winter adventures with BWA Committee or not, join us for a hike at Otter Lake Park. The crew leaders might just bring winter camping stoves to demo, layered clothing, and possibly even a winter hotel, that is ... a -20deg F Marmot down sleeping bag. If it is really cold, we will serve the life saver - hot Jello. Yes it sounds weird, but wait until you try it (no pressure). One way or another you might just pick up few tips on how to be comfortable in Minnesota winter, a great way to start the season. Our hike will take 2-3 hours. After the hike we might have a short pre-trip meeting for those signed up for the December 10 weekend trail clearing on the Kek.
Small print: Please leave Fido at home. You might see deer or wild turkeys or other wildlife.
