All volunteers who are registered for Volunteer Trail Clearing Trips scheduled in May 2009

People interested in (but not yet registered) for Trail Clearing Trips

DESCRIPTION

The Boundary Waters Advisory Committee (BWAC) is holding a training session for volunteers on its spring trail clearing crews. The training session will be held on Monday April 12 from 6-8 pm in theExpedition room at Midwest Mountaineering. Anyone with an interest in volunteering with the BWAC or trail clearing in general is encouraged to attend this training session. Some of the session's activities include: presentations of past BWAC trips, volunteer opportunities, and trail safety while on a trail clearing trip.
Volunteers on these crews will be clearing and preserving historic hiking trails in Minnesota's BWCAW. Prior trail clearing experience is not necessary to be a volunteer.
