Meetup Dinner for Friends of Bates Beach
Open to members, non-members, and first-timers! Topics range from personal experiences to current club info and news events affecting local beaches, nudist parks, or the naturist movement in general. This meeting is a great first-step for non-nudists who are curious and have questions about naturism, and it is a required orientation before non-members are invited (on a space-available basis) to attend one of our regular monthly events or parties. Meals are “Dutch treat” at a local restaurant, so obviously this is a clothed event. Your RSVP is not necessary, but appreciated: call (818)[masked] or e-mail to [masked].

What we're about

As an introductory Meetup, this is a clothed event and a great initial step for first-timers who are curious about social nudism in Santa Barbara County. The meeting is supposed to run from 6:45 PM until about 8:30 PM, although we usually just eat and greet for the first half-hour before we start with our Q & A session. The primary mission of Friends of Bates Beach (FOBB) is to restore the traditional clothing-optional beaches in Santa Barbara county now under attack. We want to meet other like-minded people who want to help us with beach picnics and rallies and occasionally distribute literature in town. Even if you are not interested in joining, please come to hear the current beach news, to share your own experiences, and learn about our upcoming events and parties.
