Mudd Hills Looky Loo

Join us for a casual looky loo through the sand dunes and yucca forest. We'll be spotting wild flowers, lizards, and birds.  No serious hiking, just wandering and enjoying being outdoors with other like minds.

Bring good shoes, hat, sunscreen, water, a picnic lunch - and of course your camera! You might even throw a couple folding chairs in, just in case we picnic near the cars and need a place to sit.

 Any questions call Tom at[masked]

See you there!

We had a great day for a walk-about. A little wind from time to time but not bad. We saw lots of different plants a few in bloom. Interesting geology culminating with a spot in the wash where there were thousands of round sandstone concretions, commonly called marbles. Multi-hued sand and mud stone all along the hike. Also great views of the over thrust area. Fun day and great company to spend it with!
