This group is for all levels of outdoor enthusiasts! From beginners to expert level participants, and everyone in between! All are welcome. We will meet to explore outdoor activities at the State Park. Prices of outings vary, but are kept affordable. We are looking forward to seeing you out there!!  Smoking is not permitted at any of this group's outings.

Owl Pellet Dissection

Grafton Lakes State Park Welcome Center

At Grafton Lakes State Park we have different types of owls that live here year round. Come to Grafton Lakes to learn about owls and disect their pellets! We will disect owl pellets and learn about how owl's digest their food differently than us. This program is best for children 5+. Pre-register now as space is limited! Call[masked] to register.

Full Moon Walk

Grafton Lakes State Park Welcome Center

Pre-registration by phone required! Step outside at night in the park. Join us for this full moon program as we hike through the park and talk about all things nighttime like nocturnal animals and what goes on outside while we sleep. Ages 7 and up. $5/person. Wild Wanderings

254 Grafton Lakes State Park Way

| Take a walk with an Environmental Educator along the storybook trail. We will search for wild creatures large and small: bugs, mosses, beaver signs, and more! This program is best for families with young children. Program will begin at the welcome center.

Bird Adaptations

| Join us for an interactive activity to learn about our feathered friends and the tools they use to survive and thrive in nature! This activity is recommended for families with children ages 7 and older.
