Volunteer Training - last one until mid to late summer

Pocahontas State Park volunteer coordinator Andrea Hassenfus will be holding a volunteer orientation and training session in the Heritage Center on February 15th at 9:00 am in the Heritage Center. This training will give you all the inside knowledge you need to find your ideal volunteer opportunity.  It is also essential for anyone interested in operating park vehicles (such as Gators or golf carts) or interested in further training in power equipment use .

You will also learn how to earn terrific service awards!

Don't know if everyone got the email from Andrea Hasenfus (volunteer coordinator), saying that people should come if they want to but if weather is bad, she may schedule a second meeting or provide other training options... Because I was rear ended on Wednesday, I'm hesitant to go out if it's bad weather...Hope to be there though!

Is it alright if I am a little late? My husband has my car cause his has a flat. He's a paramedic on 24hours and isn't sure he'll be home by 9-10
