Grimm Brothers will be hosting the Loveland Liberty 5K on the 4th of July. The race starts at 8 a.m. at the taproom and there will be post race festivities to celebrate Independence Day. (See below for more info)
Love, liberty, and the pursuit of the finish line: We hold these truths to be self-evident this 4th of July at the Loveland Liberty 5K Benefit Run/Walk. Lace up your Independence Day sneakers and hit the pavement for this race — which benefits Life for the Innocent — in the shadow of purple mountain majesties. You’ll start at 8 a.m. at Grimm Brothers Brewhouse on Denver Ave. and wind through five kilometers worth (about three miles in American measurements) of town, crossing the finish line back where you began. Then, kick back a refreshing cold one — named after your favorite fairy tales — from the local suds factory. The post-race festivities include a kids’ race, awards, door prizes, music, and, of course, more beer. Drink in the freedom and then head to Lake Loveland for the Sweetheart City’s famous fireworks show.
