Join us for an adventurous evening of photography in the dark. Fairmount Cemetery in Denver, Colorado was founded in 1890 and is Denver's second oldest operating cemetery after Riverside Cemetery. Fairmount is one Denver's most prestigious cemeteries and is home to beautiful monuments, statuary ad wildlife! It is also the states largest arboretum.
We'll start before sunset and explore some of the beautiful architecture while it is still light. We'll be primarily staying in the area where the beautiful monuments and mausoleum are.
REMEMBER A CEMETERY IN THE DARK IS NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART! Your mind can play tricks on you.
You'll want to bring a tripod and your best lenses for night photography. Also bring a good flash light, and other light painting tools if you have them. Light painting tools that require fire are not permitted. (Don't do i

We will wrap up by 10:15 and head to our cars. We need to be leaving the grounds by 10:30 pm.
Please remember to be on time for this one. The gates close to the general public at 6:30 pm. If you're late, the gate will be closed and you won't be able to get in.
Upon arrival at the cemetery, you will be asked to provide your cell phone number and your license plate number of your vehicle. This is for security and safety purposes since we'll be on their property after business hours.
Make sure you wear good walking shoes. You'll be walking--a lot!
Max Group size for this event is 20. The cost for this event is $50 per person since this is a private event for just US! The fees go directly to the Fairmount Heritage Center and an administrative handling fee.
