If you're a morning person and see this e-mail,
please join us! Brian, Gary, and I will be shooting the parade at the
Harvest Festival Saturday morning, September 12th. We have FULL access to
the parade, including the staging area, etc. If you've ever wanted to be
the press photographer who stands in the middle of the street taking pictures at
the St. Patrick's Day parade, then this is your chance.
There will be 6000 participants in the parade, 20
marching bands, members from the Kooza Cirque du Soleil, and more!
Meet us at on the corner of Grant and Webster at
If you can be there tomorrow morning, great!
If not, that's okay. I thought this event was in October so I thought I
had more time to plan it.
We are shooting the Arvada
Harvest Festival parade. Here is a google map link with full details on
the parade route, parking, etc.
If you participate, I require two things of
you. First, you must provide your images burned to a DVD, to ME by
September 30th. While you retain all rights to your images, you are also
giving them to the Arvada Harvest Festival for use on their website,
literature, etc. That's why they are allowing us full access.
Secondly, you need to print out one of these meetup
logos and pin it to your clothing or hang it from a lanyard or something.
It will help show that you're an official event photographer if you have a
badge. Just grab one of the graphic links on this page, print it, and wear
it somehow. http://www.meetup.com/DenverDigital/grow/links/
There are lots of other Arvada Harvest Festival
activities going on throughout the weekend too. If you decide to stop by
and take pictures and want to share them with the festival, that's great!
Just shoot me an e-mail and I will coordinate getting them to you.
