Best Summit County Wildflower Hikes

A former member
Post #: 19
Hello photographer friends! I'm planning to go to Summit County on Monday (specifically the Dillon/Frisco area), and I was wondering if anyone had a suggestion on where to go for the best wildflower viewing. My friend and I will have our toddlers in backpacks, so I suspect we'll only be willing to hike up to about 3-4 miles. We're both photographers and hope to capture some of Colorado's beauty.

I appreciate your recommendations!

Thank you,
Heather

I would suggest Mayflower Gulch - just past Copper Mountain on Fremont Pass. It's a great place to explore and I hear the flowers are blooming nicely.
