The Power to Transform World Healing Ceremony, sponsored by the Spiritual Unity Movement (SUM), will be presented at 6:55 p.m. Saturday, November 20 at The Onion Historical Landmark, 9550 Haskell Ave. in North Hills (near the I-405 and Nordoff). SUM is an all-denominational, non-profit organization dedicated to honoring and celebrating the truth that exists at the heart of all faith traditions. Keynote speaker, Marsha Engle, will be expounding on the topic of The New Human: Understanding Our Power to Transform. Spiritual music will be provided by renowned composer, music producer and multi-instrumentalist, Jack Lee.
Marsh Engle is an International speaker, author, Life Vision Coach and the CEO of Marsh Engle Media, a mass media personal development company offering creative resources essential to the success of women. Her program, Amazing Woman Power, 100 brings together women from around the world to create one of the most creative and transformational years of their life. In her book, ?The Essentials of Feminine Success? she teaches the guiding principles every woman must know to embrace lasting creative freedom.
Musician/producer Jack Lee has 20 years experience in the studios in LA and Nashville. He has worked on dozens of commercially successful CDs as well as TV and movie soundtracks, national commercials and spoken word projects. Jack signed his first recording contract with CBS records at the age of eighteen and has been performing, touring and recording ever since. As the guitarist and songwriter with the Madison Wisconsin-based group Oz, he shared the stage with Jimi Hendrix, Tina Turner and many others.
The president of SUM, Patrick Harbula, says that the organization encourages people from all religious and philosophical backgrounds to link together in unified spiritual service through the practice of prayer and meditation. Harbula says, ?Imagine all the religions of the world praying together for world healing and harmony. We are at a crucial time in our planetary history when it is not only possible but essential to go beyond the belief systems that separate various spiritual paths to the heart of spiritual service where we find unity.?

These monthly World Healing Meditation Ceremonies sponsored by the Spiritual Unity Movement (SUM) are held at or near the time of the full moon to be in harmony with ancient traditions honoring the sacred mother and natural rhythms of the universe. Each and every World Healing Ceremony includes an Honoring the World Religions Ceremony, world-renowned keynote speakers, live inspirational music, guided meditation, deep meditation, world blessing ritual, and a 15-minute forum on the theme of the evening conducted by the keynote speaker directly following the closing ritual.
There is a $10 suggested donation (or whatever is comfortable) for this event, and because we are an all-denominational organization, we accept denominations of all sizes.
