Co-ed weekend white water rafting trip. Cost of the trip is $400. $350.00 covers: lodging Friday & Saturday nights, two days of rafting, lunch and dinner Saturday, breakfast and lunch on Sunday.
Resort damage Security deposit: $50.00 (refundable, otherwise we will have a great story : )
Fuel: approximately $50 per person (vehicle owner exempt). Calculations based on 575 miles at 25 mpg, at $3.00 per gallon, times two ways, divided by three people = $50 per person
Smoking: Cabins are non-smoking. Cars can be voted on.
Travel time: approximately ten hours.
Car pooling: Three vehicles with four people per vehicle. Warning to drivers:watch your speed, especially in town. Lots of speed traps!!!
Friday: travel day departing at 7 AM arriving around 6 PM, settle in, have dinner mabe even a cocktail. : )
Saturday: The first day of your rafting trip starts off on the famous Gauley River with relatively mild paddling on whitewater rated Class 2 rapids where you’ll experience the beauty and wonder of rafting while gaining experience. This river is great for beginners or those who have not rafted in a while. Whitewater river are rated on a scale of 1-5, 5 being fast, exciting white water.
Sunday: This trip is on the Lower New River for a more challenging whitewater rafting experience on Class 3-4 rapids. The white water rafting is more adventurous but you'll still have time to catch your breath below each drop. Did Dave say "drop"?
Deluxe cabins, 6 people per cabin, each person has their own bed.
2 bathroom per cabin and hot tub on deck. Oh Yeah, good bye sore muscles.
Downstairs 2 master bedrooms with queen size beds.
Upstairs loft with 2 queen size beds and a single sleeper sofa.
Full size sleeper sofa in the living room.
TV with DVD player (Sorry no cable or phone.)
Fully equipped kitchen.
Private hot tub on the deck.
No Pets or smoking in cabins
