Join us as we brave the streets of central London, armed only with our cameras, as Zombies from all walks of life arise from their crypts to startle the unsuspecting populance in aid of charity.
Always an amazing and memorable day of street photography, we'll meet an hour prior to the start of the Zombie Walk to have a social chat, view photos from past years, and discuss setting and compositions. Sadly, the organisers have announced that this is the last year they will be hosting the event so don't miss out!
This year's charity is City Harvest, whose mission is to rapidly rescue surplus food and use it to feed those who need it most.
100% of funds received from this event will be donated to City Harvest on your behalf.
Note: Below step of registering with Eventbrite is now closed (1/10/19). We have a limited number of places available, however, so you can RSVP plus pay the £5 which will be donated to the nominated charity, City Harvest.
Along with our RSVP, you'll need to register for the event via this link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/world-zombie-day-london-end-times-tickets-65855735277
Note: For those not dressing up in costume (feel free to though!) you'll need to register as Photographer/Press. Please be aware of event organizers' FAQ and conditions for attendance.
Walk around/kit lens (eg 18-55mm,[masked]mm)
Telephoto lens (eg[masked]mm)
Flash (eg speedlight) - optional
Note: This tour is also suitable for "phone only" photographers
The meeting place is Yet To Be Announced as the Zombie Walk route has not been realeased. We'll message attending members a pub or cafe location once the Zombie Walk route is known. As people spread out quickly in such events and stay for different lengths of time we won't have a post-walk meeting place.
Note: This event is combined with 2 other photography Meetup groups that I run so I'll update RSVP numbers accordingly (ie myself +3 will mean 3 members from other groups attending).
