This weekend getaway is sold out.

Moran State Park, Orcas Island. 5424 acres, 5 freshwater lakes, more than 30 miles of hiking trails. Free use of canoes.

It is a spiritual place. I come back here again and again.

We hike some trails, walk around lakes, sit around the bonfire, lots to do.

Cost of lodging + admin fee: $85 per person group of 8. $93 for group of 7. $104 for group of 6.

This payment will be collected as soon as you are selected to attend the event, the money is to secure your spot and commitment.

Once payment is made, no refund will be issued if you cancel. However, replacement of your spot is possible. No refund no replacement 30 days prior to the first day of travelling.

Other costs: ferry - round trip US$13.5 adult + standard vehicle US$41.70 (share among the people in each vehicle)
Carpool - Cad $5 per hour

Only 2 vehicles are allowed.

Drivers must make ferry reservation as soon as you get accepted to join the trip

Bring your own beddings and towels

Fully equipped kitchen for meals cooking - individual meals. Come prepared with food you want to eat for the weekend.

Two bedrooms - large room 1 double bed/2 single beds - small room 1 single bed/bunks beds of 1 single 1 double

2 washrooms - 1 toilet/sink 1 shower/ sink

You can sleep with snore or able to sleep with ear plugs

You enjoy playing boardgames/cards - Queen of Spade

You can hike some trails, free canoe for paddling, stroll around the 2 lakes, sit and read a book, quiet time, lots more ....

Day 1

8:15 am - (shop for 30 minutes) pick up some food items from Trader Joe's, 2410 James St, bellingham, WA.

Driving time approximately 1 hour (46.8 miles) from WTA 4194 Cordata Parkway Bellingham, to Anacortes ferry terminal.

Catch 10:35 am Anacortes/San Juan Islands ferry - Anacortes to Orcas Islands. We are required to be at the terminal 30-45 minutes before sailing time.

Walk around town to have lunch/snacks.

Stop by park office to pick up parking permit for vehicles

Day 2

9:00 am - hike a trail or your choice of doing other activities such as canoeing, reading a book, watching the deers, etc.

3:00 pm - back to the park house - relax
