WELCOME TO IRELAND! Upon arrival in Dublin, our group will be met by our beloved Irish Guide, Gordon, who will be with us for the duration of our 10-day tour!
Gordon will take us on an introductory orientation tour of central Dublin to see rows of stately Georgian houses lining elegant squares, we will see Trinity College- home of the Book of Kells (you may want to visit on your free day). We will then check in to our centrally-located Dublin Hotel.
This afternoon we will be met by our local Dublin Guide for a fun-filled Walking tour of the Town Center! This exceptional tour will take us to hidden gems and surprises that visitors often miss. Starting from Dublin’s O’Connell Street, travelling North to South, this 2 hour stroll will take in many Dublin icons and guide you to some hidden and wonderful spots that Dublin's visitors most often miss.

● Day 4 – Sunday, April 23, 2017: Depart Dublin | Belfast Tour & Titanic
Today, we bid farewell to Dublin! We will admire the gentle slopes of the Mourne Mountains and peaceful coastline as we travel north to Down Cathedral where St. Patrick is historical buried under a huge boulder. Drive to Belfast to join a local guide and tour around central Belfast to see the city's prominent architecture, political murals and the docks where the RMS Titanic was built in 1912. We will visit the magnificent Titanic Belfast, a state-of-the-art attraction which will fill you in on information about this iconic liner. The afternoon and evening is free to explore Belfast on your own!

● Day 5 - Monday, April 24, 2017: Giant Causeway & Antrim Coast Tour | Shean Farm | Dunluce Castle
Today, we'll head to the famous Antrim Coast Road, crossing the lovely Glens of Antrim en route to Northern Ireland's Famous Giant Causeway, Dunluce Castle and the dizzying Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge! Our fist stop is Shean Farms.
Gaze with wonder at the eye-popping sight of the extraordinary Causeway – one of Nature’s most impressive artworks – featuring 40,000 polygonal columns of basalt, some up to 40 feet in height. You then head for Dunluce Castle for a photo stop before arriving at the Giant’s Causeway.. The Causeway consists of about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns resulting from a volcanic eruption. It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1986 and is owned and managed by the National Trust.

Drive through spectacular Ayrshire countryside on the way to Scotland's picturesque Loch Lomond region, where our hotel is located. We will stop along the way in quaint villages for breaks and photo opportunities. This is a beautiful drive today!

LOCH LOMOND CRUISE | TROSSACHS NATIONAL PARK | STIRLING CASTLE | ARRIVE TO DUNKELD HOUSE COUNTRY MANOR HOTEL
Sit back, relax and admire the beauty and tranquility of Loch Lomond National Park. Stunningly beautiful with picture postcard views at every corner, its forest covered mountains and shimmering highland lochs will take your breath away!
Our journey takes us up and over the dramatic Dukes Pass into the Trossachs known as “The Highlands in Miniature” so called due to its outstanding natural beauty. The name “Trossachs” comes from the Gaelic meaning “A Bristly Place”. It was home to one of Scotland’s most notorious outlaws – Rob Roy MacGregor – and was the inspiration behind Sir Walter Scott’s epic poem “Lady of the Lake” after he spent time in it’s wild romantic landscapes.
You may see a strange orange cow with big horns in the pasture... If we spot some of our famous ‘Hairy/Highland Coos’, we might stop to feed them and grab a "selfie" with one of them.

We will explore Loch Lomond today by boat, as we take a 1 hour cruise that passes the world famous Loch Lomond Golf Club, explores the middle island of Loch Lomond sailing through an area know to locals as "The Narrows" and onwards to the village of Luss.
We will make a stop for lunch in the Highland village of Aberfoyle, you stop for lunch. The town is filled with fabulous cafes, tea rooms, pubs and unique shops.
After lunch we make the short journey to Stirling Castle – center of art, culture and celebrity in the 16th century. You’ll have time to take a tour and learn about the Castle’s important place in Scotland’s history and it’s close links to famous Scots like William Wallace, Robert the Bruce and Mary Queen of Scots, who was crowned here in 1543. Stirling Castle is without doubt one of the most important castles in Scotland’s history. We then head to our hotel in the Scottish Highlands, The Hilton Dunkeld House , which is set on a scenic lake and 280 acres.

Blair Atholl Distillery | Scottish Highlands & Cairngorms National Park
Today, we will visit the Blair Atholl Distillery and the magnificent Cairngorm National Park
Any tour of Scotland is not complete without a visit to a distillery. Blair Athol Distillery is located in the center of Pitlochry and is one of the oldest working distilleries in the country. A guided tour and tasting is included. After our Distillery tour, we will head up to the not-to-be-missed "Queen's View" Mountain for a breathtaking panoramic view.
We will return back to our hotel in the afternoon to enjoy the pristine beauty of the resort's 280 acres and enjoy some hiking, fishing or ATV 4-wheeling, which they offer.

Day 9 – Friday, April 28, 2017
Depart for Edinburgh | Visit St. Andrews Village | Walking Tour of Edinburgh | Fun Night of Scottish Dancing!
This morning we head to Edinburgh, where we will spend 2 nights in the center of town on the famed "Royal Mile!" in the top rated Hilton Carlton Hotel!
On our way to Edinburgh, we will stop in the beautiful historic town of St. Andrews for free time & lunch. You’ll have approximately 2 and a half hours to explore, have lunch, walk the beautiful beach, across the famous ‘Original Golf Course in the World’, or enjoy a wee round of golf. For lunch, we suggest trying the famous ‘Tailend Fish Bar’ in the heart of St. Andrews, but there are many other wonderful places to lunch if you are not a fan of seafood.
We’ll then head back towards Edinburgh, reaching the lovely city by mid afternoon, where our local Edinburgh guide will take us on an introductory walking tour of Old Edinburgh. He will point out the many places we can see on our free day in Edinburgh tomorrow.
Tonight is going to be a special night! We're going to the famous Ghillie Dhu, a traditional "Ceilidh Hall" for dinner and Scottish Dancing! Tonight is our last night on the British Isles and we're going to celebrate big with a fun Edinburgh’s pub crawl after dinner.

Day 11 – Sunday, April 30, 2017
FAREWELL SCOTLAND! | FLIGHT TO DUBLIN | RETURN TO USA
Regretfully, it's time to say "Slán agat" (Good Bye) and transfer to Edinburgh Airport by private coach, where we take our domestic flight to Dublin, to catch our Delta Flight to the USA.
We return, however, with memories of beautiful landscapes, pristine lakes, fabulous castles, fun local pubs and people, enchanting music and most importantly, our new friends we met from Fun Happenings Travel Group!
