Fun Fall Stuff Part 2 - Hayride and Haunted Houses

Hey guys, time for part 2 of some of my favorite things to do for the fall - haunted hayrides!  There's one up in Ulster Park, NY. That's supposed to be very good.  It's about an hour and 20 minutes from the Montvale Rest Stop where we will be carpooling.  Here's some information from the website:

In 2013 guests travel on a one-mile hayride journey witnessing their futures unveiled as a fortune teller reads from a cursed deck of Tarot Cards. The haunted attractions also include: The Lunar Motel, Glutton's Slaughter House, The Root Cellar, Dark Harvest Corn Maze, Nightshade Greenhouse, Dr. Dark's Black Spider Sideshow, The Feeding, Dahlia Blood's Manor, and a magic/illusion side show. In addition, there are four food concessions, and Fear Gear, Magic Moon, Scareware and Witchy Women gift shops.

Headless Horseman Hayrides and Haunted Houses has the honors of being named #1 Hallow Scream by The Weather Channel, World's Best Haunted Hayride by AOL News, voted America's Scariest Haunted House in the Northeast by MTV, #1 in America two consecutive years by HauntWorld Magazine, named #1 on the Planet by New York Daily News, "One of America's Best Hometown Haunts" by Fangoria Magazine, named #1 Outdoor Attraction by American Airlines, named #1 Scream Park and Hayride in America by HauntWorld Magazine, listed Number 1 by USA Today, and has been consistently named in the Top Ten Haunted Attractions by CNBC and AOL. It has been featured on The Travel Channel, Comedy Central, Emeril Live, Good Morning America, Nightline, CBS Evening News and several national magazines.

Please purchase your tickets in advance here:

So I'll be meeting everyone at the 6:15, and leaving promptly at 6:30.  We'll be doing the 8:30 ride, and the whole thing takes about 2.5 - 3 hours.  Afterwards, we'll probably stop for a drink or a late-night snack, depending on what people are in the mood for.

If you have any questions, feel free to email me.  It should be a kickass time!

Didn't realize ticket is $34. That's a bit much for me now.

Everyone, please note the time change for the hayride. It's 8:30, not 8:15. Sorry for any confusion.
