What we're about

Are you the kind of person who's ever wondered how you would find a curious and fun way to explore physical challenges? Maybe reading this has piqued your curiosity?

It turns out that there are movement patterns that lead to bunions. It also turns out that you can learn other ways to move that improve the bunions. Also, having fun is one of the most effective ways to learn new things. I know that I learn best when I'm having fun.

I'm a Feldenkrais practitioner helping people learn to move more comfortably. I'm also a person that likes to find joy in life. This Meetup is for people who want to have fun looking for ways to feel better. We're starting with the topic of bunions, and can move on to whatever question members would like to explore.

Feldenkrais is a movement education method that uses novel movements and curiosity to help you learn more comfortable ways to move. The classes always aim to be comfortable and fun. When we do things more than once, we're practicing them. If we do things in a comfortable way, we get good at that. If we do things in an uncomfortable way, we get good at that. I prefer the former, so if anything ever hurts in class, we look for another way to do it. With this, people tend to leave classes in a good mood and more comfortable.

This meetup will be a 1-1/2 hour long class exploring movements to help you learn about yourself and find easier movement.

The price of the first class is just your curiosity.

We'll meet at my office at 15650 NE 24th St, Suite C3, Bellevue (corner of 156th Ave NE & NE 24th, 1 mile south of Microsoft main campus, close to Trader Joe's)

http://movebeyondlimits.com/Contact_us.htm has a map.

To start with, I'm setting the time as 2:30 to 4:00 on the second and fourth Saturday of each month. If some other time would work better for you, let me know and I'll see what works for the group. As the group grows, I'll add more times.

It's also possible to join remotely if you have a computer/device with a camera, such as a laptop or tablet.

Questions? Are you curious?

Feel free to message, call, or email me.

Thanks,
