Guess I ought to tell you all about this as well, for those who want
to learn more about nanotech in some real depth:

2008 Berkeley Nanotechnology Forum
Prospects: from Ideal to Real
Sunday, April 27, 2008, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley
http://www.ocf.be...

It's hard to guess how many presenters will address molecular
manufacturing explicitly; and it's sad but not surprising that all of
the "policy" speakers are evidently focused very narrowly on
nanomaterials, with no one paying any attention at all to much
broader socioeconomic implications just a little further down the
road. But if you want to get a broad overview of the very
state-of-the-art and work-in-progress today, I think you'd be hard
pressed to find a better opportunity.
