GAEA Pages

GAEA is based in Jacksonville, Florida as a religious, educational and social organization dedicated to the old age of our Goddess. We align ourselves with Wicca that honors the Elders Gerald Gardner, Doreen Valiente and Raymond Buckland flowing through the teachings from the modern Wiccan High Priestess Phyllis Curott, Founder of Temple of Ara.

We honor a Goddess Allied Pathway with roots stemming through the Founder of "Wica," Gerald Gardner. Who created "Wica" in 1942, that is fondly known as the "Father of Wicca.” His first High Priestess Doreen Valiente, who began using the word “Wicca” in place of “Wica,” is affectionately known as the "Mother of Wicca" and the author of the “Charge of the Goddess” that is used throughout the world in Covens on the Full Moon. Anyone claiming to practice any form of Wica/Wicca before 1942 is misinformed.

We greatly revere Elder Raymond Buckland, the person appointed by Gerald Gardner to introduce Wicca to America in 1962. Raymond Buckland with his wife, Rosemary, accomplished this goal by becoming one of the leading authorities in America about Wicca. We can thank Raymond Buckland for the popular book known as “The Complete Book of Witchcraft” commonly known as the “Big Blue Book” that inspired so many to delve deeper into their own psyches in order to find their true purpose.

We are inspired by the teachings of Phyllis Curott, a modern Wiccan High Priestess that has been a source of brilliance, reason and wisdom. She is a fervent advocate of Wiccan Rights that has traveled worldwide in her advancement of those principles. Her written works include the moving “Book of Shadows,” informative “Witchcrafting,” and amorous “Love Spell.” A Wiccan Mother who has represented the Goddess exceptionally.

Temple Oracle Priestess Willow, a first Generation Goddess Priestess, has been in service to the Mother Goddess as a result of the emptiness in modern life. She has experienced and witnessed the numerous reports of soulless adults that show no regard for life; Parents and children committing horrific acts of negativity to each other; Rise of extremist religions controlling countless people with teachings of acceptable negativity to people, animals and plants, all in worship to their Deity; Destruction of sacred relationships with deception, betrayal, rape, greed and envy; Resulting in individuals no longer capable of trusting their families or their extended family found in their community culminating into countless acts of violence and wars.

Despite all these horrors, she was committed to creating a place where like-minded souls could find kind hearted people with the birth of GAEA. A place to mark the progression of our lives by the turning of the seasons that unfolds the cosmic truth each of us is wanted and necessary to Earth. That each of us has an intended purpose that is uniquely vital to all of creation. Just as a Bee plays a vital part on Earth, we too play an essential role in all of creation.

We all were born from a Mother, a Mother of the Earth, the Earth created by the Great Goddess, our Great Creator Earth Mother Goddess. If you want to meet her, to develop a personal relationship with her, to find a safe spiritual home filled with her mysteries of life that are shared with others on the Wheel of the Year, where the divine feminine and masculine union is maintained, then please join us.
