3D Spring Garden Art

At our March meeting Joan displayed two colorful three dimensional plaques. These techniques can be used to create decorative pieces for home, garden or jewelry.
So Simple 3D Spring Garden Art Project, great For covering Canvas or other objects or Making Earrings/Jewelry
Leader: Joan Clipp
Polymer Clay: [firm or soft either will work] in your choice of flower colors and/or leaf colors:
1/4 to 1/2 block each 2 or more coordinating or contrasty colors per flower petal, [eg. Yellow/orange, pink/purple, white/black] 1/4 to 1/2 block each 2 different green colors per leaf Green, or other dark colored clays 2 or 3 blocks for art project background 1/8 to 1/2 block if making earrings or jewelry Other clay colors as needed for your design Liquid Polymer Clay Pasta Machine Clay Blades Work Surface Needle tool Shapers, sculpting tools Assorted canes/cane ends that could be made into flower petals For Jewelry/earrings:Ear wires or earring hooks, Flower Cutters, whatever size you would wear, Head pins [the kind with loop], Wire cutters, Needle Nose or flat nose pliers. For Garden Art:Object to cover ~ canvas [8x10 or smaller] mirror, or wood [pre-coated with white glue], Sketch or plan of what you want to create [or just go with the flow and create as you go]
