This month we have a double-header you won't want to miss featuring Yash Prabhu and Tom Belk talking about monetization and Android TV.
Monetizing apps on the Play Store
Thinking about monetizing your app on the Play Store but not sure where to start? Android documentation driving you crazy? This talk pieces together all the information in one place and will take you through all the steps required to implement an in-app billing solution for multiple product types.
There are two kinds of payments available to Android developers: One time payments and Recurring payments. Google provides a sandbox for one time payments but not for recurring payments. At the end of this talk, you will learn how to
• set up the payment process on Google Play Console and your app
• integrate in-app billing files
• test the workflow for both one-time and recurring payments
• how to manage the backend using Google Play Developer API
