GEEKS is partnering Card Board Crew to bring you a Superhero board gaming day! Come on down to Basecamp@Simei and chill on a Sunday afternoon or evening to find out if you are a hero or villain with new faces and friends alike through Geeky themed games. Some of the games we'll playinclude but not limited to: - DC Deck-Building Game - Marvel Legendary - Hail Hydra - Funko Pop - Hero Clix - Al Alamein - Barbarossa - DnD Lord's of Water Deep ...and many more! Date: 1 Nov (Sun) Time: 3pm till closing One-time entry fee: $5 to Basecamp 25 Pax maximum capacity space with tables of 5 at a safe distance from each other. Once fixed to a table, there will strictly be no intermingling with other tables. For Covid 19 safety, you are encouraged to sanitised your hands regularly at the sanitising stations provided after each game. We are gonna head to as many Toy Stores in town as we can on a Saturday afternoon! From Dhoby Ghaut to Clarke Quay. So come along if you wanna know where toy lovers head to for awesome collectibles while having lots of fun chatting with like-minded geeks and making new friends along the way. GEEKS present our Comic Book Club! No comic book club can club without an intellectual and art felt discussion about the only graphic novel on TIME's 100 novels to read, WATCHMEN by Allan Moore. Till today, this literary classic in picture form continues to be referenced and worked upon in continuous form either on streaming TV or in DC comics. We'll chat about the: 1. Themes 2. Relevance 3. COVID-19 never stopped comic shop owners from serving their customers. In fact, for some, comics have been a viable asset for liquidation during this season! Alas! Let us journey around Dhoby Ghaut area and lastly travel to Katong by bus to check out the different comic shops in Singapore. And while we're at it, make new friends and have a great time chatting with like-minded geeks.
