Instructor: Ms. Patricia Tsoiasue is a system engineer and extremely involved in the creative community of Long Beach.  She is working to bring a maker space to Long Beach and we are thrilled she is doing classes for our students.  Her projects include sewing projects (softies and ugly soft creatures with eyes that glow), mechanical experiences, electronics with the Arduino - a robotics computing platform and LEGO bricks, a creative medium that she loves!

This is a drop-off class if parent and child are comfortable.  As always, parents are welcome to stay and observe.  There is an enclosed playground for siblings.  However, the trampoline is off-limits.

To sign up one child, RSVP as yourself; to sign up two children, RSVP +1, etc.

If you are not using charter schools funds, please feel free to pay online or bring payment to class.

Let me know if you have any questions.  Thank you!

Hi Everyone, I would like to invite those who were registered for the Funny Factory class to join the first session of Star Vehicles this Thursday at the Sea Base with my compliments. This is in lieu of the last class that you may have missed because of the location change.

We will be working on stock kits that we will build for the experience of looking at the aircraft, then we will be using specialized parts I have been collecting for several months to make aircraft of our own.

Your child will be able to take home a small aircraft that he/she has created. *Sorry, no minifigs will be included in the take-home aircraft.

It will be tricky keeping the parts for the stock kits separated, so we'll have to institute some rules. Please reply to this comment so that I will be sure to have a kit your child can build.
