For our first hike since our summer break, we'll be heading down to Kent for a nice hike through some classic rolling Kent countryside.
We'll start in the pretty Kent village of Leigh and walk through fields, woodland and lots of small villages to our end point at Sevenoaks. Halfway through the hike we'll stop for a picnic lunch and for a quick drink in a village pub. In the final part of the hike we'll arrive at Knole park and spend some time there looking at the young deer and the stately home. Finally we'll stop at a pub in Sevenoaks for some well earned food and a drink or two.
We'll meet at London Bridge (outside the ticket office) at 10:15 am and get the train to Leigh at 10:45, arriving at 11:44. We should arrive in Sevenoaks around 5pm. Trains back to London go 5 times an hour so no need to spend too long waiting at the station.
The price of the hike is £11.45, this includes:
• Groupsave return ticket to Leigh (£7.45)
• Organiser's fee (£4)
If you can't make it, please change your RSVP to 'not going'. If someone takes your place you'll get a refund to your Paypal account. If nobody takes your place you won't get a refund. No shows won't get a refund.
There are 36 places for people travelling on groupsave tickets from London Bridge. There are another 4 places for people travelling independently (either by car or from a different station). If you'd like to take one of these places, please send me an email and I'll add you to the list.
