    GHAC Presents Hyderabad Triathlon - Oct[masked], Sunday 5.30 a.m. The Hyderabad Triathlon 2016 is back with its Seventh edition! Are you ready to ‘Tri’? A triathlon is a sport event comprising three sports, swimming, cycling and running to be completed in quick succession over various distances. A triathlon typically begins with a swim, followed by cycling and ends with a run. A triathlon not only aims at improving a person’s physical endurance levels, but also their mental fitness. All participants will be timed for all the three sports to facilitate them to assess their individual performances in the respective sport. The Hyderabad Triathlon attracts participants, not just from Hyderabad, but from across the country, besides a few international participants. Don’t be left out!     Organised by Great Hyderabad Adventure Club, Hyderabad Triathlon is India’s biggest Triathlon event. The 7th edition of the triathlon, the Hyderabad Triathlon 2016 is scheduled to be held on October 23rd, 2016. We are looking for Physicians, Physiotherapists, Pharmacists, Nurses or People with valid first aid training to be part of Hyderabad Triathlon First Aid Team. You may have to attend few meetings before the event to understand the event better. **THIS IS NOT FIRST AID TRAINING MEETUP"

The goal of this meet-up is to get the legs out of the slumber mode, to make way for hitting the legs more often on the ground and to get better with fitness, most importantly avoiding any injury. We will be starting with thorough warm-up including the basic stretches and will follow this with different types of work-outs depending on the capability of each folks. This will also be an excellent platform for the folks who are running and would like to run a half-marathon/5KM. Request to get a wrist watch preferably with timer.
