Touch pad software

Hello Folks;

I have a curiosity about software useful for marking up presentations, in front of an audience. I find that it is great to project a presentation onto a white board and then stand up and mark up the white board. The issues are that some white boards have excessive glare, there is no record of the marked up images, and I'm sure there is a better way to have a similar experience.

I hear wind that there have been some advances in the tablet and/or Mac communities, but before I dive in, I'm hoping to learn more about the stuff. Does anyone have any experience to share?

'Best;

I did audio video installations. I have used and trained people to use SmartBoard products. I found that SmartBoard has Linux software support.
