The Durable Dungeon: Stateful Serverless Workflows

Azure Functions enable serverless code scenarios that can be triggered by a variety of events and scale automatically without having to configure individual servers or clusters. Durable functions extends Azure Functions to provide state management for long running workflows. See how durable functions address scenarios from asynchronous sequential workflows to fan-out/fan-in scenarios and manual gateways. With a text-based adventure game you will learn how to kick-off durable worfklows, monitor progress, troubleshoot, and ultimately recognize significant cost savings by using a service that only bills when it is actively running.
