We will hike from Laurel Fork Gap to Virginia Hawkins Falls then catch the Foothils Trail, to upper Laurel Fork Falls and down to Lake Jocassee, where we have as nice view of the falls from across the lake for lunch, before backtracking to the cars. We hope to encounter the elusive Oconee Bell wildflowers on the way. Not a beginner hike, this hike has it’s “ups” and a several small water crossings. Expect to get your boots a little muddy and possibly a little wet!
